Dr. John Moore DDS, Cosmetic Dental Associates

Dr. John A. Moore, DDS - who has been honored as San Antonio's top dentist in cosmetic dentistry as well as one of the top dentists in cosmetic dentistry in the country. He also has extensive experience using orthodontics in San Antonio and has never been satisfied with halfway measures.

As a veteran dentist, college educator, artist, pioneering developer of dental procedures and humanitarian, he has made a mark of excellence, and is known for going the extra distance.

Since his undergraduate years, Dr. John A. Moore Jr. he has always excelled in his work. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Texas in 1977, then went on to receive a Doctorate from the University of Health Science Center San Antonio in 1981.

In dental school, Dr. Moore's professors discovered he was a unique student because he went about and beyond the requirements. His final task as a senior was to work on 12 crowns and bridges. Dr. Moore went above the required amount and completed work on 65 dental crowns and bridges; a record that has yet to be broken.

Dr. Moore started as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Colorado and University of Texas. He moved on to Clinical Instructor and the Assistant Professor of Dentistry at The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, where he taught dental anatomy, restorative dentistry and clinical dentistry for 10 years. In addition to teaching, he has lectured both nationally and internationally for more than 25 years.

Dr. Moore is now reknowned for his excellent work at Cosmetic Dental Associates, a dentistry practice he started in San Antonio, Texas. At CDA, Dr. Moore continues to inspire patients and colleagues with his amazing work in cosmetic dentistry, and hopes to do so for many more years.
